This beautifully constructed Christmas tale is all the genius of George Carlson; and it comes from Jingle Jangle Comics No. 42, December 1942. I hope you are all warm and happy this holiday season! Download THE PIE-FACE PRINCE AT CHRISTMAS!

I would love to deliver the Daily Schmaltz in Pretzelburg~! Love the little details seeping all out of this one. So clever of Razzo to rap the banjo-looking Warmer like an upright bass or guitar. All the selfish characters come together for a sing-a-long in the end. What a wonderful World it could be~!
ReplyDeleteLysdexicuss: Exactly.

ReplyDeleteProf.: My pleasure, pal. More Carlson coming on Christmas Eve!
ReplyDeleteCarlson reminds me a little of early Chic Young. The way he draws stylized hands & feet...
