My last post highlighting the western work of Everett Raymond Kinstler really got me in the mood for more horsey artwork. Here is a Little Golden Book from 1962 featuring paintings by Hamilton Greene. Wow, is this some pretty stuff. Not to be overlooked is the wonderful children's writing of Blanche Chenery Perrin.

Here's an artist I hadn't heard of before, but I've apparently been missing out. Thanks for showing this, Mykal.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful artwork all the way through. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMy only quibble is that there is no conclusion to this book.
Otherwise, nicely written and drawn.
